Dr Joseph G. Jemsek, MD, FACP, AAHIVS
(Infectious Disease Specialist; Lyme Borreliosis and Tick-Borne infection; HIV/AIDS)

Joseph G. Jemsek, MD is the namesake and founder of the Jemsek Specialty Clinic of Washington, D.C. Over the past decade, Dr. Jemsek has also cultivated clinical and research interest in Lyme Borreliosis. Dr. Jemsek prefers the term Lyme Borreliosis Complex (LBC), which he feels better reflects an immune-compromising syndrome affecting multiple organ systems and caused by multiple coexisting infections.

Dr Armin Schwarzbach, M.D., Ph.D.
(CEO and specialist for laboratory medicine Borreliose Centrum Augsburg/ Germany)

Co-founder and CEO of the Borreliose Centrum Augsburg, Germany, 1st European centre for tick-borne diseases.  Dr Schwarzbach is head of Infectolab Laboratory and Chief Physician.  He is a member of the Deutsche Borreliose Gesellschaft e.V. & specialises in Lyme disease & tick-borne co-infections.

Eva Sapi, Ph.D (Associate Professor, University of Newhaven)
Eva Sapi is an Associate Professor, University Research Scholar and Graduate Program Coordinator at the Department of Biology and Environmental Science, University of Newhaven. She has 19 years of expertise in molecular biology and specializes in Lyme-disease related research. Eva has published papers in recent years on lyme morphology.

Dr Jean Monro, MB, BS, MRCS, LRCP, FAAEM, DIBEM, MACOEM (Dir. Breakspear Hospital)

Dr Jean Monro is an internationally recognised specialist in environmental medicine. Dr Monro is a Fellow of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, a Board Certified US examination, and Principal Medical Advisor at the Breakspear Hospital Trust in England.

Ms Kate Bloor, BSc Human Sciences, MSc Soc Health and Illness, MSc Sci and Tech Pol
Kate is lead researcher for a new project entitled Lyme Research UK & Ireland: This team have designed a piece of research, on the experiences of people affected by tick-borne infections in the UK, and Ireland. This work will be the first in-depth work looking at these experiences and issues that reflect on the policy and practice for Lyme disease in the UK.

Nicola Darrell, M.B.S., B.Sc.(Hons), Dip. Phyto., M.C.P.P., M.I.R.H (Herbal Practitioner) Nikki lectures for various 3rd level institutions including the School of Nursing and the School of Pharmacy at University College Cork and also runs short introductory courses about herbs and their uses.
